Every spring, huskies shed their soft underfur. It is gathered by brushing the dogs, blended with wool for strength, then hand spun into yarn.
Each item is hand knit for one of a kind quality. Tjis fur once kept a sled dog warm as he slept curled in the snow on a long Alaskan night. May it bring you warmth and pleasure as well.
Made of 50% dog fur from the Van Zyle's VZion Kennel, 50% wool by Subartic Spinners Cooperative, Robin Ureleruch.

Framed "Celebrating 50 years of Alaska Statehood |
This commemorative frame celebrates 50 years of Alaska Statehood. It also celebrates the issuance of the Alaska Statehood 50th Anniversary stamp in Anchorage, Alaska on January 3, 2009. The presentation features authentic 1959 and 2009 Alaska Statehood stamps and a limited licensed print from the same photographer (Jeff Schultz) to create the Alaska Statehood 50th Anniversary stamp. This commemorative frame has been officially commissioned by the U.S, Postal Service in Anchorage, Alaska. To confirm this limited edition, the number engraved on the frame's descriptive plate will match the number stamped on the certificate of authenticity.
The Anchorage Post Office and Winco International hereby certify the authenticity of this exclusive edition that has been limited to only 2009 frames.
